As always, Brian Doherty gets it. Just a couple of corrections: Ross says his purpose in creating Silk Road was to provide an open free market where people could exchange goods beyond government interference. What was exchanged was buyer/vendor driven. Although it became a predominantly drug market, due to the anonymity, drug sales were not the goal. Also, Preston Bridges’ tragic death was never proven to be from drugs bought on Silk Road.
